Four Maidens

I wanted to upload this four-in-one RWBY-tehemed sprite yesterday, but for some reason the file was corrupt and I had already switched my PC off, so I couldn't get back to it immediately.. Sooo, now for a retry!

These four girls appear only once or twice in the entire RWBY series. They are the original Maidens: Winter, Summer, Spring and Fall. Their story is told in the Story of the Seasons where the four maidens, one after the other, visit an old wizard, using their abilities to help him see the beauty in nature. In the end, the wizard grants the maiden more power than they ever had so they can continue to spread joy with the gifts they received. The girls promised to return to the wizard's home once every year. And they did.

From the moment I first saw them in the World of Remnant episode "Four Maidens", I loved their design! The colors represent their seasons really well (even though they seem to vary throughout history / different versions of the story).
Winter is icy white and blue, reminding me of the Northern and Southern Water Tribes in Avatar the Last Airbender. In my sprite she conjures up a bunch of snowflakes.
Summer is warm purple, with some more red skin around her nose and shoulders, along with a couple of freckles. In my sprite she had conjured a small fireball.
Spring is grassy green and wears flowers in her hair and around her wrists. She wears a short dress and walks around barefoot! She's holding a sunflower.
Fall is as brown as the dying leaves she has fluttering around her in my sprite. She wears dark brown leggings and skirt and a white top, resembling a school girl uniform.

I like how they look! Time to take another break from RWBY for a couple of others. At the very least: A Japanese turtle god..
