King Taijitu

Description

Did it really take me a full month to get to work on another Grimm? Really? At this rate it'll take a year to make them all.. If I even decide to work on them all :P
A little while ago (a month apparantly) :iconnedemexican: requested a Beowolf sprite. When I showed him the finished work, he asked if I was going to make them all. I wasn't sure and still aren't, but I at least wanted to give it a try. I was going to work on a Griffon, but then I remembered the King Taijitu and since I had just finished a snake god, I still had the poses I was trying out for said god. No better time to make this one, right?

The King Taijitu is a massive snake. One snake? But he has two heads! That's right, on each end of the snake, there's a head. There is a white and a black half, representing the Yin and Yang symbol everyone knows. Both heads have the signature Grimm masks, though the white head has a grey mask, which is a rarity, but otherwise it would blend in. The King Taijitu is supposed to be much bigger than a Beowolf and I tried to make it slightly bigger, but not too much.. Let's just say this is a Prince Taijitu ^ w^ (no, that was not a reference to the, sadly, recently deceased singer...).

Oh, while working on this one, I suddenly made him very cute, or at least it looked cute, though ferocious. Here you can see an extreme close-up of the work in progress ^ w^

Anyway, this is a neat entry for my birthday. Happy Birthday, me!! ^ w^
